Social Icons on the Header & Footer

Question

Posted · Report post

I'm trying to put an Social icon for Linkedin in the Header & Footer. By default icon is placed next to the logo and if it is moved by margin-left or css it's not work and isn't responsive.

How I can fix it?

Thank you!

Hi,

This is done by going to Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Header And Footer. Just add your LinkedIn account information and the icon will appear. It may be obscured by the background set by CSS.

Hi there, to put the social icons into a widget in the footer see this thread - http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/22026-how-to-make-social-icons-portable/

To add your own logo or replace a logo you'll need to use a hook and add it manually. See Dannys code on this page - http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/21979-where-is-pinterest-icon-in-branding-section/

You can add your hook to the functions.php of a child theme like the base theme or using the hooker plugin from the store.
