All I want to do is add a 900px x 100px image to my footer. This should be easy, right, but I can't get it to work. I don't want my footer broken into three columns. Yes, I am new, but this should be really easy right? Help.

Hi,

it's very easy.  Just go to Dashboard > PageLines > Drag & Drop and click "Footer".  There, drag the Universal or Full Width over to the Active Sections.

Go then to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus and add a text widget to the sidebar selected (Universal or Full Width). Inside the text widget, just add the HTML code to include an image (standard HTML works fine here).  The text widget will add some padding and/or margin space, but this should be negligible, and will not stop your 900px wide image from displaying in the Footer.

OMG, thank you so much....I've been pulling my hair out for days on this....using content boxes. I thought since the widget was called a sidebar that it wouldn't in the footer. You saved my life Thanks alot Rob.
