Trouble centering button in jigoshop

Question

Posted · Report post

I have a site and am somewhat familiar with firebug and css in pagelines, but I can't seem to get the buttons on this page ( http://shibuifolders.wpengine.com/shop/ ) to center. I tried to add this to the custom css in the pagelines panel but it didn't work:

.jigoshop #page a.button, .jigoshop #page a.button-alt, .jigoshop #page button.button, .jigoshop #page input.button, .jigoshop #page input.button-alt {
    -moz-box-sizing: content-box;
    background: -moz-linear-gradient(center top , #FFFFFF 0%, #DCDCDC 100%) repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    border: 1px solid #BBBBBB;
    border-radius: 4px 4px 4px 4px;
    box-shadow: 1px 1px 0 #FFFFFF inset;
    color: #000000 !important;
    cursor: pointer;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    padding: 5px 9px;
    text-align: center;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5);
}

this didn't work... making the float:none made the 3 columns become a single column all the way down the page...

I just helped another client yesterday, by guiding them to apply a specific pixel for margin-left.  Because in that client's case, the products were in a tight column, it was simply a matter of margin-left: 50px; that worked well.

HI,

In order to do this, you're probably going to need to add text-align center to the products li and then add, float:none to the button. This should work, also you may need to use a PageLines override. You can find more information about the overrides on our custom CSS docs.
