Hi,

I use it myself at www.epicurus.com/discussion. Use the menu above to visit the various components, such as Activity, etc.

Do you have an example of a website that is themed with Pagelines Framework and uses the BuddyPress plugin. I would really like to see the possibilities.

Thanks Rob, that is helpful. Do you think this would be useful if I was creating a site where students could have individual profiles where they could blog, post youtube videos and other media they make?

It can be; sure.  There are many plugins for BuddyPress, though many are outdated.  So just be careful not to go overboard with that.  WordPress itself has great tools for your students being bloggers. Make each one his or her own basic category, and teach them to post only to their own.  There are ways to limit that.

Many people find BuddyPress to be cumbersome, a memory drain or just don't like it. As you can see, it looks good, works okay, but you must be very careful of spam.  It is, unfortunately, a spam magnet.

Okay, really good to know. Maybe I will see what other tools I can use for now. I remember the last time I tried it I ran into some troubles. Good advice as always. Thanks!
