I have an idea for you. One of the features I cannot do without in any website project is the ability to target widgets to appear on particular pages. Wordpress doesn't do it, and no theme does it, and there are only two plugins worth a dime that do it. Widget Logic and Widget Context are the only two, and Widget Context's latest upgrade is broken with an NPTF. You should build this feature into Pagelines Framework.
Very Big Feature Upgrade Suggestion

Thank you for the suggestion, we will pass this onto the core team for review.

Use Widget Controller - this works perfectly with Pagelines and has a fast interface for selecting posts and pages. There is a fix for Widget Logic Visual but it's a hassle.

I just installed the Widget Logic By Path plugin, and that works great. It's an extension to Widget Logic itself. If I use collection/*, the widget will appear on the page with the name collection and all of its children. Adapted from how Drupal works.

@acuitas - This isn't something that should appear in a theme in my opinion, that is the reason for plugins such as Widget Logic etc. This isn't a theme specific feature, in my opinion Wordpress needs to update how widgets are handled, as it is in need of a facelift.
