box sizes

Question

Posted · Report post

I need assistance changing the box sizes. I have the developer tools in chrome, have inspected the element and clicked on the appropriate element, in this case a box. Supposedly, when you click the html is on the right and the css is in the smaller box on the left. I do not see the word css on the title of the left box, nor do I see anything associated with the size. Please assist.

Hi Eileen

When you look in the inspector at the box, you might not always land on the correct element which controls the size of the box. If you scroll up and down slightly in the html on the left side of the inspector window you see the various css commands applied to each element in the right hand box. The box size is set automatically depending on how many boxes you decided to set in a row in the box meta. This figure will show as a % value in the css column like below, if you edit this value it will edit the width for all boxes set to that class.
