Hello there. The client site in question has launched, and it looks hellish in IE8. This, naturally, is the browser which the client uses (they are locked into a Council IT system and cannot upgrade.) So getting it right in IE8 is essential.

 

We have the Google Compatibility script box ticked.

 

I've put in <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7, IE=9"> as well.

Are you using our Browser Specific CSS plugin?

 

That has some specific CSS elements that can help fix issues that occur in IE8.

 

The plugin is free in our Store via Dashboard > PageLines > Plugins > Top Free. Here's the supporting documentation:
