I've set up buddypress and bbpress with my pagelines framework website. Everything is installed and seems to be running okay with no errors. My question what do I do next? I've set it up with BuddyPress Template Pack. And many of the default buddypress links are blank. Where can I find CSS code to fill in the blanks and start using buddy press?

Hi,

The combination of BuddyPress and bbPress creates a slug conflict. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Forums and scroll down to Archive Slugs. Change the first option "Forums base" to something like "community" or "discussion". This fixes the slug conflict.

Did you install and activate the PageLines integrations for bbPress and BuddyPress available via the Store?

I hadn't yet installed bbPress but went ahead and installed it and fixed the slug. So I'm sure that ins't the problem.

I did install and activate the PageLines integrations for bbPress and BuddyPress.

But, when I go to /members page of the site it redirects to the homepage. What else do I need to do to integrate the site so it works?

Thanks!

Check the proper url for the member's page. To find these by going to Dashboard > Appearance > BP Compatibility.  They'll be on the right side.

Should I have the PageLines Framework or the Base Theme active under >Appearance >Themes?

The URL is correct, I am directing from the link in Dashboard > Appearance > BP Compatibility.

Hi there- I am having same problems. Nothing I do (including the above recommendations) will get my forums page or my registration page to work. I just get redirected back to the home page.

Also, I'd like to continue to use the pagelines framework for my theme as I have it designed the way I want it...are you saying I HAVE to use the base theme for BP to work?

Please advise.
