Remove Facebook like button from posts and pages

Question

Posted · Report post

I am trying to remove the facebook like button that appears below the content area in all of the post types and pages on the site (banners, posts, pages).  I can't find any place to turn off the button.  I have removed all sharing plugins disabled the sharebar.  Firebug shows this

<table class="uiGrid pluginConnectButtonLayoutRoot" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

is controlling the area for the button.

Site is http://losangeleshome-inspection.com

Thanks

Alan

Hi there, looks like you were close with the last one, try the below.

#facebook_like {display:none;}

Thanks Catrina.  From the custom-css page I see that I need to add

.section-nav { display: none; }

and replaced .section-nav with .facebook_like from the code I pulled using Firebug (<div id="facebook_like"> which seems to control the entire area around the like button.)

I have put in a number of variations of

.facebook_like  { display: none; }

and don't seem to be getting it correct.  I seem to need more specific instructions.
