Hi,

I apologise but I don't quite understand what you're referring to, can you explain further and/or provide images please.

you try this step:

  1. pagelines - page option and set Callout to open link to a new window
  2. goto drag & drop and in template 1 insert Callout and clone it
  3. in Callout #2 you cannot turn off open in new window.

OK, this is not an issue. Basically, if you configure the Callout section in Page Options > Site Defaults and set it to open in a new window, by checking a box. This is will override your cloned Callout sections, as you have change the option that is set by default on Site Defaults.

I recommend you set the Open in New Window without using the Site Defaults.

Danny explains that you can set the clone section to open in new window without setting this as sitewide default.

In the Site wide defaults - turn off open in new window and you won't have to do this in the cloned section.

The only way around this that I can think of is for you to to create a child Callout section and this to your child themes section folder.

See here for information on how to create a child section -

However, once you have completed the above, I suggest you do one more thing, you rename the Callout section to something like callout2, you will also need to open the child Callout section sections.php file and replace callout with callout2, so that these sections then become unique.

This will allow you to use two different Callout sections, that can be configured differently.

If you need assistance with this, I suggest you contact one of our Pros -
