Hi,

The WP-Boxer plugin has built in settings to create borders around what it calls "Content Blocks", which are essentially, the same as boxes.  You could do that without any real coding experience or CSS skills.

If you'd prefer boxes, the CSS element you're looking for is: .grid-element, .media_overview

The rest is simply adding the CSS to this, but keep in mind, you'll need to make some adjustments to things like padding, margins, etc.

Yes, it's possible to add borders to boxes. You’ll need to use Custom CSS (in Site Options > Custom Code > Custom CSS/LESS). To find the Custom CSS you need, you'll need to use Firebug (or Chrome Development tools). To learn how to use Firebug for CSS customizations, please review this entire documentation and follow the instructions: http://support.pagelines.me/docs/customization/custom-css. For help with the border attribute, please see these instructions: http://w3schools.com/css/css_border.asp.
