Change pluginrule with functions.php?

Best Answer Danny , 10 March 2013 - 12:13 PM

Hi Willem,

The functions.php file is the same as a child theme, therefore it will support overriding a plugins code, but the plugin will need to have filters for you to hook into. Therefore, I recommend you contact the plugins author for assistance.

Hi!

I use Smush.it for my website.

The plugin has a file wp-smushit/wp-smushit.php. I want to change this rule:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

to:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

But I don't want to change the core file from the plugin, because I loose this when updating this plugin.

Is there a possibility to do this with function.php from Pagelines Customize plugin?

Kind regards,

Willem
