Hi Guys,

I've been skilling up in jQuery via some online tutorials.

I'm now looking to practice using it in a Platform Pro site. Where do I place the jQuery scripts?

I have tried placing the following in the 'header' script section to test if the script is being recognised -

<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){
$('.photo').fadeOut(1000);
});
</script>

I'm a little unclear where I've gone wrong. Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom

Yes jQuery scripts will go into the header box :-)

Unfortunately, jQuery isn't my strong point, so I'm not able to confirm if you've written that correctly or not... you could try running it through http://jsfiddle.net. to test it in a live environment.

Thanks - James, I guess my question is "how do I structure the call to a jquery action in the header script box/ platformpro theme?"

If anyone has more of an idea about this, advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Tom

Hi Tom,

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide support for user created code, if you're having difficulty creating your snippet of code, the best place to get support would be the codes support page, in your case here.
