Hi there, you could try a minification plugin like - http://wordpress.org...gins/wp-minify/ or http://wordpress.org...ins/bwp-minify/

Hi everyone,

I just tried this plugin to improve my blog's loading time: JS & CSS Script Optimizer Options

But it messed up the appearance.

So my question is: Could somebody please give me some hints on how to optimize css script in Platform theme (not pro)?

Thanx!

Hi,

I'm not sure this is going to work with an outdated free product.  You can try this plugin http://wordpress.org...w3-total-cache/ with MaxCDN.  MaxCDN is not free. There are far less efficient CDN services which are less expensive or free.

Your hosting company can also raise the available memory for PHP processing, if you have a good host.

I sincerely recommend purchasing PageLines Framework.  This may help as more options are available to you.

@Rob: thanks for your answer!  I previously tried w3 total cache and wouldnt like to try it again --it really messed up my blogs (maybe due to my host).  I didn't know a thing about CDN, so finding one is now part of the things i'll work on... >>

Hi James B, thanks for your answer, i just tested the two plugins you suggest as well as MiniPress and MinQueue and i'm keeping WP Minify, which works fine and renders all my blogs using platform theme faster --except one which uses custom community theme, so i'll have to find the right substitute in this case.

Thanks again!
