Hi,

I love the design of Ozone and am very happy with it.  The only modification I would like to make is to exclude the "Contact" and "Latest" panels.  I'm basically trying to focus primarily on the Portfolio section, and since there is already an email contact icon at the top, I don't necessarily need the Contact panel.

Would it be possible to get some guidance from you on how this would be achieved?

Many thanks!

Each section is a separate div so you can display:none the sections you dont' need in CSS. However, those menu links will still be in the menu. You would need to edit the theme files for the menu as well. The only thing about this is that update will overwrite what you've done. So really there's no good way without hacking the theme.

Thanks for the fast response.  I'm not brave enough to hack the theme so I guess I will have to find a way to work with it.

On further thought, I would like to pursue getting the Contact and Latest sections removed. I really want to keep this portfolio page as minimal and clean as possible and especially the Latest section would mean adding a lot of unnecessary content.

The updates aren't a big concern because once the site is set up, the only thing that will need to be added/modified are new entries in the portfolio.

If it's not too much hassle, would you please point me in the right direction?  I've modified CSS to accomplish minor tasks, but I'm in no way proficient.  If you could instruct me with some minor detail, I should be OK.

Hope this isn't asking too much and thanks sincerely for your time!

Alternatively, I can make the sections work, but would it be possible to get rid of the phone number, street address, and twitter feed in the Contact section and replace all of that with an image that would be situated to the right of the text blurb?

Okey dokey

1. Place this in your Custom CSS

.ozone-wrapper{.ozone-content-fourth,.ozone-content-fifth{display:none;}}

2. Open /sections/ozone-section/section.php and remove these 2 lines (56 and 57). You can alternately put a // in front of each line to comment the line out.

Lemme know how you go about.

Thanks for this, Nick.  I really appreciate the help.

I decided to use the page ID trick to implement more relevant content, which made it work with the layout.

I'm quite happy with the results.  Still need to tweak things to get it to load faster (image resize, I think)

BTW how do I get rid of the footer navigation?  Or at least the Links and Audio links?
