Hi,

I've been trying for ages to change the size of the features bar on my home page. I've looked at all the settings and still seems far to big.

Silly question but is it just a case of changing the size of the photo within the bar?

Hi,

If your images are all a standard size, particularly height, you may go to the page where the slider is to appear, scroll down to PageLines Meta Settings and click the tab for Features.  You'll then be able to select static height and set that height to a fixed pixel value.  The width is essentially controlled by the layout and where the slider is placed (full width page template or content area with sidebar(s)).

I don't recommend using slides too large in size.  Some browsers don't crop images, and so a slide of 1000px wide that is set into a 700px wide content area may experience bleeding of the wide image under sidebars.  Uniformity is best.

Hope this helps.

So I've done that and its BIG! But I think once you read the spec's of the photo you will advise to re size it.

Dimensions W 2513 x H 1669

Resolution 300 dpi

(and yes my site is slow!)

Hi Phil

W 2513 x H 1669 is quite large. Definitely advise to resize that.
