Masthead buttons and text beside the image?

The solution, in this case, would be to use the Grid System.  This would permit you to customize the layout, add buttons as desired and keep the entire things SEO friendly.

 

You'd apply a universal sidebar or content box, and place the shortcode, content and button shortcodes within that.  For the sidebar, use a text widget.

How do I edit the masthead so that it has this layout: Example:

I want the text and buttons to be beside the image and not below it.

Rather than Masthead, you should use the Hero section:

The Masthead can only be in a centered format.
