modal not responsive?

Question

Posted · Report post

Hi.

Is it correct that the modal is not responsive? I have more content in the modal than what fits on the screen. The footer of the modal therefor is not on the screen anymore (you cannot scroll down to the point you see the footer either), hence users cannot click on the buttons. Is this a bug? Or do I need some custom css or code?

Thank you.

Hi Jbrouwer

There has been a few people commenting on the responsive aspect of the modal. You could use some browser specific css to edit how the content inside the modal is effected on smaller screens.

Or take a look at this post where another user has used a modal section that one of our developers has created and posted a plugin which could resolve the problem you're experiencing - http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/24192-bootstrap-responsive-not-in-pagelines-spec-modal/?hl=modal+responsive

The modal IS responsive. It has a max hieght tho, if you want it taller you will have to add some css. Its not designed for huge blocks of text.

Hi,

See the grey button called 'voorbeeld' under the post, link.

Although I already added some css to get the modal higher on the screen:

.modal.fade.in{
    top: 5%;
}

Default is 30%.
