I would recommend reading up on CSS. You must not be doing something right. Take out the comma it doesn't need to be there.

Hi Nick,

I would like to insert a gallery into the portfolio section but I am having some issues. I know I should supply the page id into the gallery section but I can not seem to find the ID. I looked into the browser window but that does not seem to show a page id. Should I create a post or a page? Also, how does this work with Jetpack Carousel?

Are you able to place an blog feed into the Blog section? For example, anytime a new post is created in my designersduty.tumblr.com blog could it show up under the Blog section?

Lastly, I would like to right align the text on the right hand side of the About Section. It currently looks like it is left aligned.

Thanks again!

Hi,

1. So when you publish the post, the ID is in the address bar. It should look something like this
http://screencast.com/t/ZY4ood3lBU

2.The blog feed, takes the most recent posts, made on that blog. It wont take in a feed from somewhere else.

3. The text, on the right side, is already right aligned.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the prompt response-- the gallery is now working.

I meant to say how can I have the text on the right side look left aligned, sorry about that. See the attached image-- I would like for the right column to match the left column in terms of alignment.

Also-- the JetPack carousel is enabled but it does not seem to work. Is there a shortcode I should place on the same Portfolio Gallery page for this to work?

Thank you!

Try

.citi-content-second.tar {
text-align: right;
}

For the JetPack question, I'm not entirely sure. Citi does have some support for Gallery Carousel without JetPack, so I'd think they'd work similarly.

Try adding !important to the end of those rules, before the semicolon.

i tried that too like so:

body{}
.citi-content-first, {display:none !important;}
.citi-content-second.tar {text-align:right !important;}

that !important should override any browser or author defaults, right?
