Carousel Customization

You're using a third party plugin for your slideshow, we can provide support for third party plugins, you need to contact the developer for the plugin for assistance.

If you wish to use the PageLines Carousel shortcode, you can do so by simply copying the code and pasting it into your post/page. Then make the necessary changes to the code so that you use your own images and text.

Hi

You can add (for example) the short code to a "Full With Slide Bar"

Go to Pagelines > Drag and Drop

in Page Templates Drag the "Full With Slide Bar"  to the "Active Area"

Then go to Dashboard > Widget and insert a widget text

Finally you can insert the short code in the tex widget

[pl_carousel name="PageLinesCarousel"][pl_carouselimage first="yes" title="Slide 1" imageurl="" ]
Here is the first slide and it's caption.
[/pl_carouselimage][pl_carouselimage title="Slide 2" imageurl=""]
Here is the second slide, in all its glory.
[/pl_carouselimage]
[pl_carouselimage title="Slide 3" imageurl=""]
You can have as many slides as you can create.
[/pl_carouselimage]
[/pl_carousel]

You may find that Wordpress inserts line-breaks when using Shortcodes on different lines, as in our example above. To prevent this from ruining your day, wrap problematic shortcodes in RAW. Example: rawSC.png?v=1359998381
