Hi,

I am trying to add a carousel to my homepage

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

It is saying that 'gallery not found' and showing a pagelines gallery of sorts... IS it possible to let me know what i've done wrong? I created the gallery in NextGen, but perhaps I am not entering the correct ID? I used the path that was provided on the gallery page...

Thanks for any help!

Ashley

Hi Ashley,

I've never (in two years) really used NextGen, but I know it's very popular.

Here are the instructions for use of the Carousel, including how it should be setup:

The page (where the carousel is going) will have PageLines Meta Settings where the ID should be set.

I'm told that if there are too many images in the Gallery, javascript can crash.  Try to keep it to a limited few and see if that works. It's even worse if your site is using background supersize.  I suspect this is a memory issue.

Hi,

Like Rob suggested above, you will most likely need to use the plugin nextgen gallery and like Rob, I myself do not really use it.

However, it is fairly straightforward, I recommend you read the documentation on Nextgen gallery -

Once you have created your gallery, you then need to follow the instructions here -

Hi

I make a test  with my next gallery on my carousel in arte-baires.com.ar

You need select you ID number

For example "2"

Captura+de+pantalla+2013-02-24+a+las+08.

and then you only write "2"

Captura+de+pantalla+2013-02-24+a+las+08.

This works fine to me

Captura+de+pantalla+2013-02-24+a+las+08.

;)
