Change simplenav background color on hover- please

simplenav css hover

Best Answer Rob , 08 February 2013 - 02:35 AM

Hi,

When you click the Style tab in Firebug, you can check the option for hover and active status.

This source will help you find the proper CSS for hover mode. http://www.w3schools...f/sel_hover.asp

This should give you an idea how to amend the code to suit.

I've firebugged, googled and searched these forums till I'm blue in the face- I cannot make the background color of my simplenav buttons go transparent on hover. Simple CSS Lite doesn't change the colors either. I have custom css on menu-menu that is putting rounded cornerswhere I want them. I can even use the same selectors to make all the buttons transparent. I cannot make just one transparent on hover though. I guess I need help determining the correct selector?

I'm so frustrated :(

Can someone please help me?

B

Thank you, Rob. I was going to immediately message back that I *had* been looking at the element via firebug, but instead I did it one more time and found what I needed. Stared at the dadgum page so long I forgot "how to."

Thanks again,

Briana :)
