Morefoot color

Question

Posted · Report post

Morefoot.

Pagelines>framework 2.4

Im trying to change the background of the whole morefoot at the bottom of the site scottsdalescott.com

After reading other posts I found the following code:

.section-morefoot .content-pad { background-color: #FAF4EB; }

I put this in the <> custom code area, but it did not change anything.

Any help?

Hi there,

The copy you've pasted is adding the

tags from the old method we used to insert code. Paste the code in with the [code] brackets like below

.section-morefoot .content-pad { background-color: #FAF4EB; }

Great. That worked. Is there another code to change the color of the Footer column sidebar? And can it be across the whole bottom of the site regardless of the page size?

In an older version of Pagelines, I used to have a background color go across the whole footer.

Thanks.

Using css you'll be able to change any element or section of the site. If the site if set to full width sections in the layout editor you'll be able to use css to extend the background color to the full width of the site.

Looking at that line of css you have, the .content-pad part is whats instructing it to stay inside the content area. Remove that and the color will go full width.

.section-morefoot { background-color: #FAF4EB; }

Most of the css inside the Framework will follow the format of '.section-' followed by the name of the section. So for the footer you're looking at

.section-footer {background: #000000;}

We'd advise you to use firebug to find the names of the sections so you can edit them in the css. If you've not used css before then check out http://support.pagelines.me/docs/customization/custom-css/ which will give you an overview
