I want to change the opacity of the images to either side of the main image. The jQuery script is difficult to read an dmake sense of so any tips would be helpful.

Hi,

 

Image opacity is handled by CSS. However, removing the boundaries of the slider, making the slides flow in from one edge to the other.

That doesnt help because I actually cant find where to apply the opacity values in the jQuery script. I dont understand how the slider works because the code was not clear to me. Thanks anyways.

I think you can use CSS rather than jQuery to change the image opacity:
