Order Of Features And Size Of Box

Question

Posted · Report post

Is there a way to change the order of features other than just selecting "ascending" or 'descending".  For example, can you designate which one goes 1st, 2nd, etc.

Also, can you adjust the size of the features box?  In the control panel there's an option to adjust the height but not the width.

Thanks.

John

Not sure what you mean there, you mean they're changing in the back end but not on the actual site? Did you have that page cached using a plugin? If so dump the file and refresh.

Hi John

Yes there is, we recommend this plugin - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-types-order/ which will allow you to reorder the posts/features/boxes etc in to which ever order you want. You can literally drag/slide the posts in to the correct order.

The size of the features box will be determined on the size of the section you place it inside. You can control the height of the section, but the width will stretch to fit inside the section. You might be able to adjust the width using css, but text or other content won't wrap around the slider. If you're looking for that you might be better using the carousel from the demo>tools> page or a third party plugin.

Hope this helps :)

Hi there, once you install post types order you'll be able to see a menu to reorder at the bottom of the boxes tab.

Click on that and a reorder screen will appear, drag the boxes into the correct order and save.
