Problem With The Dropdown Menu In Bootstrap

Best Answer x69chen , 08 December 2012 - 03:57 AM

Just out of curiosity why aren't you using the navbar we have built in to the framework? If you don't like the options available you can style them using css.

Maybe you could look into a plugin which will make this easier? Something like uber menu? http://wpmegamenu.com/

This one is activated using shortcodes http://wordpress.org...menu-shortcode/ or http://wordpress.org...menu-shortcode/

Hi I did not use the framework NavBar because I need to make 7 links of 7 different projects in home page,

and each project page has its own about us page, news page, contact us page, service page.

So I need to make 21 different NavBar to do it.

And I think Framework only have 4 available NavBar that I can use right?

And also I have solve this problem, seems I need to add a "clearfix" in the first class, but it does not mention it in the instruction

Anyway, thanks for helping, I really appreciate :)

Hi I have set

<div id="e093" class="dropdown">
   <!-- Link or button to toggle dropdown -->
   <ul class="dropdown-menu" role="menu" aria-labelledby="dLabel">
      <li><a tabindex="-1" href="#fea1">Cooling Sub Module (CSM)</a></li>
      <li><a tabindex="-1" href="#fea2">Auto Air-conditioners</a></li>
      <li><a tabindex="-1" href="#fea3">Heat Exchangers</a></li>
      <li><a tabindex="-1" href="#fea4">Heater/Blower</a></li>
      <li><a tabindex="-1" href="#fea5">Wiring Harness</a></li>
   </ul>
</div>

And I also set "#e093{position:relative;}" for CSS,

but it does not appear on the web site.

Could anyone help me with that,
Thanks :)

Hi it works, but not what I am looking for...

I just want the one which could show the whole items in the beginning like the Panel menu shows on the Bootstrap, not a button...

So does it mean that the class "dropdown-menu" won't be worked in PageLines?

You mean to show just the dropdown panel? Ya something like this then

You'll need to give .my-wrapper a display:block and position:relative.

Hi, I'm glad you got it sorted :-) Thanks for letting us know. Yes the framework has space for four custom menus, but with the secondary nav you can assign a menu on a per page basis through the page meta. So you could create a number of custom menus in appearance>menus and then assign a different one on a per page basis using the secondary menu via the page meta settings.
