I have been working on a website over the past several months via a development program on my desktop. When Pagelines version 2.3.5 came out I attempted to upgrade on the development site. Everything went well with the exception of my feature image disappearing. Instead of my feature image I can only see the green background. Here is what I have done to narrow down the problem area:
  • I tried to re-upload my feature image.
  • I tried to change out my meta settings as well as my specific home page settings.
  • I removed my custom code for the feature area.
  • I removed my plugins temporarily.
None of this has helped, so I went ahead and uploaded to a holding site at

to see if you guys can take a look at it and see if I am missing something.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi, if you can, please create a new Administrator level user via Dashboard > Users > Add New and use/send to robert@pagelines.com. I'll go in, with your consent, and see if I can fix this. We do not usually do this, but I suspect there's something wrong somewhere.

Okay. Fixed.

1. You did not use the background for the image, but used the media link even though the static image isn't media (video, etc.). Sorry we didn't catch that from your images.
2. You did not set a number of slides, transition speed, or select a slide source.

As a result, the slider had nothing to display or transition. Everything's working. However, please study the way the settings are at present and you'll see what's needed for future slides.

Please delete that user account.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Gotcha. Thanks. Sorry it just kind of threw me since it worked before the update so I didn't think to add all of those.

Again, thank you so much!

Happy Thanksgiving!
