Hey all,

After updating to 2.3.5 my CSS/LESS RUles Window started to re size dynamically according to css code. Its kinda annoying I must say because while scrolling down it shifts width and that bring some trouble finding stuff you need.

I use Chrome. I upgraded 3 sites to 2.3.5 but it seems to be happening only on one site with 2.3.5...

And I liked better the earlier version of this window that could be re sized by hand because I could strech this window to full width for clear view. It should be a fixed size or (as in older one) optionally re sized by hand...

Hand resized window was better, now color coding looks good but this work area is to small...

Any one having similar issue ?

Hi Butcher,

I've viewing in firefox and mine is fixed and is wrapping the long text so it's all contained inside the browser window. Could you take a screenshot for us so we can double check.

Hi,

Can you post the image please, there wasn't any attached in your post above.

However, if I understand you correctly, this is most likely caused by you having all your css on one line.

Instead of having your CSS wrote like this:

Write it so it looks like this:

It should stop the resizing that is annoying you and also will be easier for you to read.

Yeah, this will solve my problem as you described BUT it wasnt and issue before AND MORE to it it is not an issue at other PL instals... It seemes that PL is woring well on other 2... its kinda annoyng... I dont want to strech my code in lines like you did to have shorter scroll span... It helps if you have a lot of css in custom section.

have you scrolled down ? :) Well, I did the same as you to other project and it also seems to be ok... but there is something diffrent - on the other project I have CSS collored...not on this one. I just noticed that...I'm searching maybe for some plugin conflict, but so far no results... any ideas ? :)

EDIT: Found it: Lizatom Shortcodes Plugin...

Thx for help. Much appropriated!

Nope, thx. You can add Lizatom Shortcodes plugin to conflict list with PL. I didn't use it in my project, he was just ON ;) Mark this topis as solver/closed or delete it if you want...
