Ive got pagelines develper edition and wanted to find out how I do a client hand over. Ie on completion of a website how using pagelines I would like to restricted access to some areas in the cms. Is this possible.
I was wondering if there is any plans to factor client management in to the frame work.

Thanks ddyer

You can restrict certain things to certain usergroups, like add your client as 'editors' then they cant mess with the main settings, as you need to be a full admin to do that.

Is that what you do or others who use pagelines?

Hi there, yes that's what I do.

Set them up as a user role with restricted access to the parts I don't want them adjusting etc. There's also options to set user access in Pagelines>Site Options>Advanced where you can set the user role required to special posts types and page/post meta.
