Hello,
I'm trying to change the body and/or page background but nothing seems to happen. Am I missing something? It just defaults to white.

Are you changing the colors in Color Control and clicking the save button?

Hey catrina. Yes - I'm clicking save. Right now, body background is set for a red and page for a blue color. But I don't see anything happen. When I do change content background, I see that it does change the color of the tab background though.

Hi there, do you have any cachin plugins installed? These could stop you seeing the changes live on the site.

If you could disable all third party plugins and see if that makes a difference. If it does, then you'll need to reactivate each one, one by one to see which one is causing the conflict.

Thanks so much, James. I'm a real amateur at this and I appreciate how quickly you guys respond. That fixed it. Can I ask one more in this thread? Any way to have the sidebars be a different color than the page background? Or have them stand out in any way? It kinda looks like the page content and sidebars just run together now.

We typically recommend creating a new thread for a new question but you can certainly change the color of the sidebars by using the background-color: #FFFFFF; element and by using CSS. You will need to view your site with FireFox with FireBug to help see where the code should be placed for which element. I suggest looking for your #sidebar-wrap.
