Is there a way to call a Section via shortcode, like

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

allows me to call a widget via shortcode?

Example of Desired Section via Shortcode:

Where are you trying to call the section? Inside a widget?

If, for example, I wanted a Hero Section within the page content area, I could use something like this if Sections were able to be called via shortcode:

The talk about widgets was just saying that it's possible with widgets (not PageLines-specific) and that I'd like the same sort of functionality in PageLines for the Sections.

Thank you.

There are no shortcodes for page sections. You'll either need to add the section below or above the content area section. If you need to add a hero-like element to the content area, there may be a suitable HTML workaround for it.

Thank you for confirming there are no shortcodes for sections. Can you or I submit that to Tracking as a feature request?

Could you tell me / provide the code for the HTML workaround you're referring to?

Thank you.

Please dont submit it, sections use classes and child classes. They just wont work as shortcodes.

What do you plan on having in your Hero section? That way I can point you to the right tutorials.

Thanks, Simon. Bummer.

Catrina, any generic example is fine. Thank you.

Hero is used primarily to add content that has a button.

If you want to use the button functionality used in Hero, you can add buttons using the buttom shortcodes available here:
