Resolved Add Offsite Link In Navbar

Question

Posted · Report post

Is it possible to add a link to another site to the navbar?

I'd like to add a link to a sub-domain of my main site to the navbar but I can't see where/how to do this. I think I found where I could add a link to a secondary menu but I'm only using the standard navbar.

Any suggestions or help?

Thanks

GPro

Hi Gpro

You can add a "Custom Link" with your sub- domain

Go to

Dashboard > Appearance > Menu > Custom LInks

And you can create a new site to the navbar

You have more information in

http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen

OK, I guess I was looking for an easy way without making a custom menu. HAHAHA Now I see I needed to make a custom menu, include the site pages I want in the menu, add the custom link as instructed above and then choose that menu as the primary website nav.

Thanks for the help! Can mark thread resolved as far as I can tell!
