Resolved Rotating Text Box with Links

Question

Posted · Report post

I have a client that really likes this site:

http://www.leadingedgegroup.com/

I'm trying to see if I can recreate it on this demo site:

http://demo3.jasonmcvay.com/

I've installed the wp-supersize plugin to display a slideshow in the background. I've also added css code to add a background color to the boxes. The one thing I can't figure out is the rotating text box above the box-like features. I'm less concerned about the style of the box and more interested in how to achieve this rotating text box with links and sized similar to the one on their site.

I left what I've been trying on the page, which is added a gallery of images, which I could replace with "images" of text. This would not allow me click on any of the words and is less than ideal.

The other option I trying is using a feature section, but I cannot figure out two things:

1) Can I size the feature box so it is not the full-width and aligned left?

2) Can I show just the text and not an image or at least have the text cover the entire width?

I'm not expecting someone to design my site, but I'm hoping to get a nudge in the right direction.

That was just enough of a nudge. The code below got me what I wanted and I'll continue to tweak from there. Thanks.

#feature_slider .fcontent {

width: 100%;

}

#feature_slider #feature-area {

width: 33%;

}
