Changing NavBar Color in 2.2.5

Question

Posted · Report post

Hi,

I'm sure this should be obvious, but how can I change the NavBar backgournd color (beyond the pre-set options of blue, green, light grey, etc.) in 2.2.5? I'm trying to figure out LESS, but it is slow going.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi James,

Thanks. Had to drop this site for a while but am back to now. Your code above works fine for FireFox, but does not seem to render in IE or Crome. Am I missing something?

Site again: mikebauhof.com

Thanks for the help!

Mike

Hi there,

As the color options are preset in bootstrap you actually have to use css to alter the colors assigned to one of the preset color options. Like on your current site, you've got the blue nav. So you'd edit the colors set for .pl-color-blue. The css is pasted below, edit the hex colors to the colors of your choice and paste into pagelines>site options>custom code.

.pl-color-blue {

    background: -moz-linear-gradient(center top , #6E9ED2 0%, #4574B8 100%) repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;

}
