Is it possible to have multiple logos, and each logo would only show on a specific category? Essentially what I am looking for is a way to show my main logo on the index, but when a user goes to the Ghost Stories category, it would show a logo specific for that category...etc.

Well, the search engines won't like that. And our systems aren't really designed for it. However, you could replace the Branding in the Header with a Universal Sidebar, then place a series of text widgets into it. Each text widget would contain a category specific branding image with link. Using Widget Logic (a plugin), you can tell the widget where it should appear, so that the Ghost Stories logo only appears on posts in that category, and any pages you specify. This is going to take quite a bit of site engineering to ensure you don't have two images appearing in the same place. Additionally you'll have to do some custom CSS to ensure that the alignment, padding, spacing of the custom images fits within their proper place, aligned to the menu and any other elements in the header.
