I added a piece of css to make my branding image to the left of the menu set, but it makes my social icons quit working. Here is the css I added: #main-nav nosearch ul, #menu-nav {margin-top: -54px; margin-left: 230px; width: 600px;} Is there any obvious reason as to why this happens?

Try adding this to your CSS:
 .icons {  z-index: 6000;}
