Pagelines "NavBar and Fixed NavBar Menu" creates a major problem for multilingual websites using WPML. Choosing the correct menu from the "NavBar and Fixed NavBar Menu" drop-down makes the menu appear only in the main language. It means changing the language does not change the menu. If you do not choose any menu there and instead choose the right menu in the menu page Pagelines shows the wrong menu on the site. Another problem with menu in pagelines is with "Fixed Navbar". Again one can choose a menu in Pagelines settings page under Pagelines "NavBar and Fixed NavBar Menu" but the menu does not change the language. In the cease of "Fixed Navbar" one cannot even choose the any menu in the menupage.

Are you saying that because you choose your menu in the Navbar settings panel instead of Appearance > Menus, that WPML can not translate the menu?

@batman: that solves the problem with the site's logo not the menus. @Danny: Yes. That is right. WPML allows you to associate different menus to the different languages you have on your site. Pagelines settings is in contradiction with that function and makes it disabled. One manu shows up in all pages of the site no matter what language you open the page in. I think manu management should stay in default WP menu page. I do not understand the need to move it to Pagelines settings.

I will bring this to the attention of our developers and see if there is anything that can be done/changed to resolve the issue.

I have spoken to one of our developers and he has informed me that although you choose the Menu from the NavBar settings page, it still uses the Wordpress menu system. The issue apparently is that WPML doesn't translate the menu entries.
