You can do that using custom CSS, most likely by using a background image. If you aren't familiar with CSS, check out this link http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS

You'd edit code like this:
.single .hentry-navigation a em { color: #999999; display: block; font-size: 11px; font-style: normal; }
Like in the "Read More" thread, the issue is the same where you'd need to add a background image but then I'm not sure how to get rid of the text link if you replace the link with an image using CSS.

Okay. If you want to keep the arrows, the ONLY other way to remove the links is to change the CSS and play with the code I provided above. You can adjust the color of the font to white, which will make the link appear invisible. You can also shrink the size, though that might affect the location of the arrows as they're proportional to the rest of the content. We can help you remove the entire thing. But removing ONLY the links is a customization you must tweek via CSS as you desire. We can't design your site, unfortunately.

This will lead to hiding text or links with white or small font size. Which is against Google' Best Practice Guidelines.

My suggestion in that case would be to hire one of our Pros to create a customized solution. Unfortunately, short of changing the color, I can't provide a coding solution. They probably can create a custom solution for you.
