Upgrade to 2.2.1 and a black background I had set in CSS is gone

Question

Posted · Report post

This is odd. This area had a black background before the upgrade. Now it is gone: http://cl.ly/3V3f3D2b0k0p1G0O1L0V I don't want to start fiddling until I hear back on why this would happen. My CSS should not have been affected. Perhaps I had not input the CSS correctly in the first place?

There is no custom CSS in the page, can you copy it to http://paste.pagelines.com probably a typo.

Hi @pross: I found the issue.... It appears that "footcols" has been renamed to "sb_footcols" in the new version of Pagelines. I went in and edited my custom.css accordingly and everything is back to normal. Why would PL change the core naming conventions?

I'm not too certain why the naming conventions would change. @pross should be able to answer that, though. :)

Well nobody has commented back on this. But the naming conventions were definitely changed from the last version of PL....

Yes, they were and I'm sorry this one skipped past me. There were several CSS elements that changed.

@rangelone: I figured as much. Wondering where that was written in the release notes.... :-(
