Peter, I don't think our developer has heard back from the plugin author or we'd have heard. The reason your plugin works with themes is that they're not frameworks. We have a recommended method of converting .po/.mo files that you're aware of and we support that well documented method. Unfortunately we cannot force the plugin author to respond to us and I strongly suggest you write to them and ask for support directy. They can try a demo of our framework at demo.pagelines.com for testing.

Please see "Preparing the Theme and/or Plugin For Localization" at this page:

It seems Pagelines framework lacks the necessary codes in "function.php".

Yes I know how to localize and this isn't a great issue. But thought I should bring it up. IF it had been a simple thing to correct. However if you guys rather use poedit and your own translation center. It's fine with me.

Pageline does not show up in the localization admin page, where all the other themes and plugs show up. This is by far the best way to handel translations in wp. But it is not possible to translate Pageline through this fantastic plug. Sorry I can not be more spesific than that. Try the plug and see.

As for PageLines not showing up on Codestyling Localization plugin,

you can find a customized version, based on what has been discussed

.

Hope this helps: it did to me with another similar theme and PageLines as well (just tried).

@sciamannikoo Thanks, but I just tried this and it didn't work for me. Or did I have to do any additional changes in the file you provided.

@pehja this is quite strange.

You don't need to do anything more, except refreshing the translations page.

It worked for me with PageLines and another similar case. It should be enough to make the change mentioned in the post I've linked or using the modified file I've linked as well.

You may want to double check that you've actually uploaded the file in the right place.

Ok, I tried it first locally. There it did not work. But it did on the live site. So thanks!
