Following the 2.2 update the pagelines logo has reappeared in my footer which has also gone back to a black background.

1) how do I remove the logo? (I had

John, go to Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Website Setup and scroll down to "Website Watermark". Check the box to hide the watermark. Save the settings. Check. The leaf should be gone. I'd suggest removing that CSS from your Custom Code.

Some CSS elements were changed with 2.2 and solutions are being worked on at present. A new release should be out soon. Meanwhile, check the settings under Color Control to see if you can fix the footer background color.
