We've just launched a revised version of our website. Many elements are working well, but the Reader section seems to malfunction in IE8 or earlier. We've used the Reader to create a segmented jobs board on our site. For users with IE, the first frame of the Reader displays, but then none of the other tabs work. Is there any fix for this?

There have been issues with Reader and IE8. There's more insight here on why they happen:

Browser-related issues are usually very pesky.

Thanks Catrina. I thought that might be the case. Regrettably, a large portion of our users aren't (or can't) access IE9, so we may have to wave off the reader.

There is probably an alternative solution using HTML and CSS that is compatible with IE, but that's something you'll need to experiment with and I'm not certain how the animation aspect of it (switching tabs) would need to be implemented (it'll probably require Javascript).
