Hi, I know that this is totally off what you should do, but you all seem very experienced here, so I can always ask. When I made a background container for my hentry-pad with padding, the elements within got respectively smaller. But then I have used column shortcode (as I can't get it to work good with any boxes, or other solutions). And now when I try to style "four_col" then one of the boxes/columns move down. And that seems natural as I'm adding padding on the outside of the column element, and they're made to be exactly "one-forth" each. But maybe there are a trick or anything to make both the padding and the column fit inside each one-forth..? Or else I may have to struggle some more with those boxes... :) Or just don't style them, that also works I guess. Thanks!

To prevent the boxes/columns from moving down, you can decrease the width of them using CSS. The padding is being added on and there is no negative value allowed for padding (i.e. -5px, -10px, etc.) so you'll need to make the boxes/columns smaller.

So, it's not possible to use with such column shortcodes then (1/4 etc)? Because that will always make the total 100%, and then the extra padding will make it move down because it gets more than 100%? Thanks!

Hi Danny, Thanks for asking! Well, I have had problems with the Pagelines boxes, so I have just done my own boxes, and that's working more like I want it and I was able to customize it more. So right now it's no problem for me. It would be interesting though to know how I can use CSS, as Catrina mentioned, to make boxes don't go down when you are using columns shortcodes. I didn't quite understand that. Thanks!

Hi Ecee, What is the shortcode you're using is it a plug-in ? If so would it be possible to reply and provide a link please, so I can take a closer look.
