Hi Bob, I visited your website on several browsers and I did not once see the loading at the bottom of the screen. Therefore, I think the issue is your route to the Google API link. Can you do a Tracert to the link and see if there is any latency anywhere.

Hi Danny, Thanks for your quick reply. You're aware the continuous loading only shows when you click on an article to read it? Assuming you do I have tried a Tracert but I'm not very familiar with it so I didn't get it to work yet (I guess). Here's what I did: 1. I went to http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/visual-tracert/ and filled in the blog link. I got an error stating: blog.geotypico.com/how-many-bikes-and-cars-end-up-in-amsterdams-canals/ is an invalid remote address. Clicking on 'Use current IP' gives the following: Host trace to 86.94.121.77 18 hops / 16.5 seconds 1. dreamhost.com United States 2. dreamhost.com United States 3. cogentco.com United States 4. cogentco.com United States 5. cogentco.com United States 6. cogentco.com United States 7. cogentco.com United States 8. cogentco.com Netherlands 9. eurorings.net Netherlands 10. eurorings.net Netherlands 11. eurorings.net Netherlands 12. Unknown 13. wxs.nl Netherlands 14. kpn.net Netherlands 15. kpn.net Netherlands 16. kpn.net Netherlands 17. kpn.net 18. Unknown ~6,138 miles traveled Says little to me but by the looks of it a route from Visual Trace to my IP address is good. The problem with the loading time however remains on my computer. It's however a good thing if you (and others) don't have this continuous loading of the articles. A test on my mobile phone loads it directly as well. On Chrome as well. I guess the problem is in my FireFox somehow, this keeps giving errors. Thanks for your help! (no need to dive into my personal FF settings) Regards, Bob.

You may want to set up an account or test it via http://www.pingdom.com It will tell you specifically which elements are causing problems.
