Custom CSS producing odd results

Question

Posted · Report post

Im attempting to re-edit my CSS as the last framework update seems to have made some of my custom css code redundant and it no longer works. Editing with firebug works fine but after i save in the custom css section and reload the site it seems to break a few things. For example im trying to change .hentry-pad { padding: 0 10px 25px; } to .hentry-pad { padding: 0 0 25px; } It should end up like this css-1.jpg But after saving and reloading the page it ends up like this css-2.jpg Another odd thing about this is that i have to restore the database back to an earlier version to get the site back to normal, as just deleting the css used above from custom css doesnt change it back. Any assitance would be appreciated http://www.danceyrselfclean.com/ http://www.danceyrselfclean.com/introducing/crystal-fighters

I just tried another setting under Pagelines Settings (Global Settings) and it caused the same issue, so it seems its not just saving custom css but some issue with saving anything in the Global Settings. Pross basically anytime i save a setting under the Global Settings it causes the site to mess up as can be seen in the screenshots from the original post. The only way i can undo the issue is to restore my database back to an earlier version.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm not exactly sure what could be going on with the Global Settings' behavior, but perhaps pross has better insight about it.

It seem not, here they are again. The first image is how should be. The second image just shows me saving the global settings dispite not even changing anything. And the third image is what happens after i reload the site after saving. We cant debug anything with cloudflare caching all your js/css and then hypercache caching it again. If you want me to log in and check it out disable these plugins and email a login to simon @ pagelines.com and i will take a look.
