Different Menu for Logged in Users

Question

Posted · Report post

I'm having difficulty figuring out where I can put this code snippet so that when users are logged in they see a different menu. Given the complexity of Pagelines, I can't seem to find the appropriate space. I do have the pagelines customization plugin enabled if there is a function I can throw in there that will do it. Basically I have one more item on the Primary Menu I want to display to users that are logged in. http://wpsnipp.com/index.php/theme/display-different-menus-for-logged-in-users/

You can identify a user that is logged in by this CSS class: body.logged-in

There is also a pseudo negation class, buy don't think that works for IE8 and older. body:not(.logged-in)

Hi, I did some research for you and found this plug-in, I haven't tried it personally but its worth a try. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-custom-menu-filter-plugin/
