why is my nextgen gallery showing up so small?

here is my link... www.crwstudio.com/families. my page is set up with a main column width of 860px and a sidebar width of 172px. my image sizes are between 800 and 1000,yet the images are so small. i'm not sure where i can change the size. i've looked under the nextgen tab, the pagelines tab...i just can't figure it out. please help...thanks so much!

First, what's the total width of your site? You need to do the math correctly to ensure that the combination of 860+172+60 is not greater than the total width of the site. The number 60 represents the padding needed around the main column and the sidebar column. If your site is less than 1092px, your slider will adjust accordingly, narrowing down. Second, it's incredibly unwise to have a feature slide wider than the set width of the slider. So if you want a slider of let's say 800px width, then you can't add images of 1000px because they will break the slider or narrow down. I'd suggest resizing the images to suit your slider's dimensions for height and width.
