Hi, I'm sorry, I'm unclear what you are trying to accomplish. The canvas is opaque now. Did you mean to change the opacity? Also, you should know that your background image loads very slow. It's probably a rather large file. Have you considered reducing it, then stretching the background?

The white in my content area,I want to be able to see through the white to the background. I guess that is my question, can I change the opacity of the white in the content area. Also, I will reduce that file size as it is a rather large file. Thank you

Okay, so you need to add this to your Custom Code, but, you will need to adjust the 0.32 to a different number - as high or low as you want from 0.99 to 0.01 to get the opacity you wish:

Thank you. Do I put it in Pagelines > Settings > Custom Code? And when there, do I put it between the body {}? Because it's not working yet. Again, thank you.

You put it in PageLines > Settings > Custom Code in CSS Rules, directly under the body {} tag (next line down). Then save your settings.

I have another question. My footer is somehow linking to the rest of the site as far as the background is concerned. How can I make it separate and make it a black footer. If you go to www.indakno.com/magazine, you see that the footer has the opaque background too. Thank you.

Can you open a new topic on that as it's unrelated to this topic. Thanks.

Hi, I have tried to do the same thing, but it only seems to effect the footer area? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
