Hello everybody, after reading a lot about problems and solutions about the qtranslate widget, I share my own solution to place the widget in header section.

I did it in three easy steps:

1. Enable Universal Sidebar on every page we have translations, and then, place qtranslate widget in Universal Sidebar box in the widgets section.

2. Add css properties to the flags on widget itself in Custon Code section in Platform Settings.

I did something like this:

` /* --- QTRANSLATE ---*/

.qtrans_language_chooser {float: right; list-style-type: none;}

.qtrans_language_chooser li { bottom: 0; float: right; margin-right: 5px;}

3. Add css properties to Universal sidebar, in my case I added background to simulate the flags are floating above the header.

` /* --- UNIVERSAL SIDEBAR ---*/

#advanced-tagline .widget-title{display:none;}

#sidebar_universal { padding: 0; color: #fff; text-align: left; height: 25px; background: #color url('

') no-repeat top center;} `

And that's it!

We have a beautiful flags and widget running. All this work without touch any php file. I hope this helps. :)

You can see the widget running here:
