Hi vburnham,

I'm not sure that you want to have individual attention to this issue, but you've asked your question in a topic for another, now outdated product.

Please open a new topic under the correct product so that we may provide you with the best, most up-to-date solutions.  Many of the solutions proposed here won't work in PageLines Framework, and still others exist in the Framework that don't work in PlatformPro.

I'm sure you understand.  Thanks.

You could create a page for the category and check the box in the Dashboard > PlatformPro > Blog and Posts to "Automatically show Page titles"

There are plugins like Special Recent Posts or others that will list posts in a variety of ways. I use Multi Column Taxonomy List. Here's an example: http://www.epicurus.com/food/recipes/categories/by-ingredient-type

Thank you all for your help, but I am not sure if I am explaining in right. I have a category page with all my posts that fall under that category loading on it, just like a blog. But I want the page to have the title of the category that i choose to load on top. Here is the page. I would like to have the title Callas load at the top, which is the category name that all the post are under. http://goldenstatebulb.schipperdesign.com/category/flower-family/callas/

Hi, you can paste this in platformbase/functions.php assuming you have Base activated: [code] //ADD CATEGORY TITLE AT TOP OF CAT PAGES add_action('pagelines_before_maincontent','cat_title'); function cat_title(){ if ( is_category() ) { ?>

Category:

Can you tell me where exactly I would put this code in my functions.php. Everytime I do I get an error and my site breaks. Thanks!

All hooks go must go into either your child theme or customise plugins functions.php file. If you edit the core functions.php file, you will cause numerous errors on your site. All this information is provided on our customisation documentation.

I'm sorry I'm probably driving you crazy but I added the Customize plugin and found the functions.php but I'm still unsure as the exact location I need to place the code and if I replace any code in there with anything. Thanks
